NO-TILL GRASS DRILL RENTAL AGREEMENT Saginaw Conservation District 178 N. Graham Road Saginaw, MI 48609 989-781-4077 EXT. 4
The renter shall agree to operate this drill according to instructions in the operator’s manual and the no-till technician’s instructions. The renter agrees to pay a delivery and set-up fee of $65.00. Also, the renter agrees to pay a rate of $6.00 per acre. A fee of $125.00 will be charged on sites less than 10 acres. The renter will be held responsible for damages due to misuse or negligence. Upon receiving the drill, the renter must check it over before using. If damage is seen, the no-till technician or district office should be notified so someone can check this condition. This will protect the renter from being charged for damages that are not his/her responsibility. The drill will be delivered in a timely manner, with considerations for weather and unpreventable circumstances. The drill will not be transferred to another individual without the permission of the Saginaw Conservation District. Possession of the drill by any renter shall not be for more than three days at a time. Bad weather will be taken into consideration. The renter will indemnify and hold harmless, the Saginaw Conservation District, of all claims arising out of the use of this equipment. This drill is for the purpose of conservation of farmland and natural resources. It may not be used for commercial operations or other financial gain.
